We are the Joplin Tri-State Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA). Our membership is open to everyone, but mainly we are a group of professional accountants and accounting students located in southwest Missouri, northeast Oklahoma, and southwest Kansas.Our members work in public and private companies throughout the tri-state area.
Our mission is to provide our members with opportunities for professional development, networking, and career advancement; allowing them to become trusted business advisors in their organizations. We offer mentoring, certification, and education and encourage adherence to high ethical standards.
The Joplin Tri-State Chapter is a group of winners; we consistently rank as one of the top IMA chapters in the world and have won nine awards for our newsletter and website.I have enjoyed my years of IMA membership and found the volunteer opportunities throughout the organization to be very rewarding.
